HULL BUSINESSES INVITED TO SUSTAINABLE SEMINAR

The Humber Environmental Network is returning to Hull in early December to host a seminar for businesses on sustainable procurement. The seminar will be held at the Arc, Blanket Row in Hull on 7th December between 9:30am – 12:30pm.

This seminar will provide valuable guidance and advice on adopting a sustainable procurement policy, how sustainable procurement is used in the tendering process and will also be full of useful practical advice from businesses who have already taken steps towards sustainable procurement.

Emma Davies, Humber Environmental Network Coordinator is keen for businesses to realise the importance of sustainable procurement in enhancing their company reputation and helping them to win important new contracts and customers:

“There has never been a better time for businesses to take action on sustainable procurement. Most tenders with public sector and larger private sector organisations request information about green credentials and are looking to use suppliers that can demonstrate sustainability practices.

“By making environmentally-conscious changes to the way the business operates, and promoting these changes to the wider community, they can win new customers and make a real positive difference to their environmental impacts. This seminar will inspire and motivate businesses to take action.”

To book your place at this seminar or to find out more about the Humber Environmental Network please email emma.davies@energypartnership.org.uk or call Emma on 07500 554455. This seminar is £25 for non members.
