Companies are being invited to
submit an expression of interest for the installation of energy-efficiency measures
across the North Yorkshire area.
Coordinated by Yorkshire Energy
Partnership and funded via the Energy Company Obligation, the project will involve
a substantial amount of work insulating houses with solid walls or hard to
treat cavities and installing energy-efficient boilers.
YEP is
a leading not-for-profit sustainability company, owned and
supported by nine North Yorkshire Local Authorities. The local authority brands
are powerful in attracting customer interest in installation measures, and we
use them well.
Businesses must provide their own Energy Company
Obligation funding. Businesses of any size can express an interest in the work
but they must be accredited. We are looking for reputable, conscientious
companies who can demonstrate extensive experience:
1) Of installing solid wall, loft and cavity wall insulation for domestic customers; and/or
2) Installing boilers
